From today, BIH Housing Association will be known as
Helm Housing
- a name that positions the organisation at the forefront of developing affordable, quality homes.
"This is an exciting day for us. BIH Housing Association was established on 1st December 1975, when BIH stood for 'Belfast Improved Houses'.
With over 5000 tenancies throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and 134 staff, we are delighted to have outgrown that name!
Our key role is to develop and manage rented accommodation for single people, families and the elderly - as well as various models of supported housing for people with special needs.
Helm Housing
is a name that embodies our progressive and forward-thinking nature.
From today, we will begin to roll out our rebranding and new logo on our offices in Belfast and Dublin - and on all our properties across Ireland."
